This interview series started yesterday, you can read the first one on here:
One of Us / You - Eleonor PiteiraOne Of Us / You is a series of Interviews with Artists who are members in the Game-Art-HQ dA Group. I selected 5 very different artists who also had very different roles in thsi group. Some are active here since a good while, other even participated in one or more of our Art Tributes on Game-Art-HQ.com and some just submitted 1 or 2 Game related deviations yet.
Hope these Interviews are interesting to read, suggestions for questions are welcome, i am no professional Journalist after all.
In the first Interview you can read about :icongravity-zero: a Portugese artist who is since around 2009 on deviantART. I requested her take on the Assassin's Creed character Captain Blackbeard and invited her to this group. Have Fun reading and a great weekend, next Monday the 2nd "DRAW A ******" starts!
:icongbk666: Hello :icongravity-zero: please tell us a bit about you, are you a professional artist, what are your goals and targets related art, what kind of tools do you use for drawing and what do
The next interview will be online on the next saturday.
Now the Draw-This-Again-Meme news. Some of you know me already through other groups and know that i am organizing art contests from time to time to get artists to draw rarely drawn video games and their characters or pushing them with contests with stuff they did not try out before. Beside a draw-this-again contest last year there was another one where artists had to color line art by other artists who shared their lineart for that purpose.
The biggest contests happen on and the next one will be a draw-this-again contest and start around June and endure for 2 months.
I am going to sponsor this with 100 bucks from my own income. The task for the artists will be to re-draw one at least 1 year old video game related deviation from them.
Also, wow! Over 800 draw-this-again meme deviations were submitted to the group in 2014 already. Nice to see that the meme is still used and hopefully useful for many of you!
